Please notify us within 3 days of your receipt of the package that you wish to return the item. Once we receive and confirm the item is as we shipped it, we will refund your bid price.

Insurance is always optional and we do not require it, but we strongly recommend it. We've had very good luck with the Postal Service and UPS but sometimes packages do get misplaced! We will handle your item very carefully but after shipping it's out of our control. We keep our insurance charges to a minimum.

We don't charge tax, we just collect it! Since we are a licensed business we are required by California State law to collect tax on all sales made to California residents.

I've always been the kind of person that keeps a mental tab on prices, Not on purpose, it just kind of sticks in my head! So you might say I was born to shop! gearNgizmos started a couple of years ago without me even realizing it! My wife and I had taken the kids on a rock climbing trip to Joshua Tree and while we were there one of the people that were part of our group pulled out a Camelbak hydration pack to take on a nature hike. My son really liked it and when I asked what the price was I was dumbstruck! I remember thinking "I'll bet I can do better than that."

Six or seven months went by and we were coming up on Christmas and I was trying to think what we would give my son and I remembered the Camelbak...... next thing you know, I was searching the internet. When I thought I'd found a pretty good price, I contacted the company and before I knew it the words "How much if I bought two dozen?" were coming out of my mouth!

Then I checked ebay and found that I'd found a really great deal so I bought them. After fiddling around for a couple of days, getting registered as a seller and painstakingly learning how to put up an auction, I soon had a buyer! I sold another, and then another..... And then I realized I was hooked! I was really having fun doing this. It became a challenge, get it to the buyer quicker, faster, cheaper. Find more products, do it again! Alas, I am an Ebay addict! So I got legal, got my resellers license, registered with the California State Board of Equalization and so on! Naturally, the next step was to open a store! Since I've always loved tools, camping gear, electronics, doodads and gizmos it wasn't hard to come up with a name!

So there you have it - gearNgizmos carries camping gear, hiking gear, flashlights, emergency contingency items, hand warmers, knives, 12 volt appliances like coffee pots, ovens, stoves, and coffee pots, micro lights, and just about any kind of cool gadget that strikes my fancy! I love them all, so don't be surprised if I start ranting in my auctions about how cool this knife is or how bright that flashlight is!

gearNgizmos tries to ship all orders on the same day it arrives! We ship every day except Sunday, but Saturdays your order needs to arrive to us no later than 10:30 AM to give us time to get it packaged and ship it. We ship almost all Saturdays but every now and then we have a family trip or something going on and we won't ship until Monday! We try to combine shipping wherever possible but since we have more than one warehouse that's not always possible. We don't advertise what type of combined shipping discount we offer because we offer so many different products it would be impossible to guess what type of products you're ordering! So... combined shipping is available, just drop us a note and tell us what you would like to purchase and we'll give you a quote!
